Does the Eliminite meet my state’s advanced wastewater treatment regulations?
Eliminite, Inc. is headquartered in Montana and currently has distributors across the western united states. The Eliminite is classified as a Level 2 (highest treatment level) advanced onsite wastewater treatment system in Montana, a Level 3 (highest treatment level) system in New Mexico and is approved for advanced treatment applications in Colorado and California. Eliminite, Inc. will submit engineered designs for clients who are located in states where the Eliminite system has not yet applied for formal "blanket" approval. Commercial, community and clustered Eliminite systems may be approved in most states as long as they are designed by a licensed Professional Engineer. Can the Eliminite be used in commercial or clustered applications?
Yes, the Eliminite® is expandable and modular and can be configured to serve a wide array of land development applications beyond single family residential homes (click here for system designs). Unlike competing advanced onsite wastewater treatment systems, the Eliminite® is not limited by the size/shape of its treatment media or its internal components. Due to the flexibility of the Eliminite’s design and the versatility of its MetaRocks, Eliminite systems can be configured to satisfy the unique requirements of almost any given commercial or clustered application.
Examples of unique site requirements that the Eliminite can meet are lot size constraints, high groundwater table, rocky and sloping topography, extreme climate conditions, etc. While some competing systems upsize their treatment capacity simply by selling more individual units, you will never find an Eliminite system that employs a seemingly endless chain of individual “pods” that are linked together, creating an installation, maintenance and troubleshooting nightmare for contractors, engineers and homeowners.
For many commercial and clustered applications, the Eliminite® and its MetaRocks represent the most efficient, economical and logical method of advanced wastewater treatment.
How much area does the Eliminite occupy?
The Eliminite preserves valuable yard space because it is compact, it is virtually invisible when landscaped properly and it can reduce your drainfield size by up to 50%. The newly designed Eliminite includes the septic tank, pump chamber and Eliminite filter all in one easy-to-install, durable fiberglass tank. While the dimensions of the Eliminite vary depending upon the level of advanced wastewater treatment your particular state and building site require, the Eliminite’s new all-in-one design will almost always save space when compared with competing systems that include a septic tank, pump chamber, dose or mixing chamber and advanced treatment pod.
Does the Eliminite require a dial-up phone connection or a wireless internet connection to
function properly?
No. Unlike many competing systems, the standard Eliminite does not require the added expense of a dial-up phone connection or a wireless internet connection for proper functioning and monitoring. If contractors, engineers or home owners prefer to have the system connected by phone or internet, those options are available for any Eliminite design.
Does the Eliminite require any chemical additives to achieve its high level of wastewater treatment?
No. Wastewater that is filtered through the Eliminite is treated entirely by the MetaRocks contained within the system. No additives, starters or enzymes are necessary.
Does the Eliminite emit any odor?
No. The Eliminite treats wastewater to such a high degree that no odor should be present in a properly functioning Eliminite system.
What maintenance is required for an Eliminite?
In most states, maintenance requirements are imposed by regulatory agencies. In the absence of any state regulations dictating onsite wastewater treatment system maintenance, the Eliminite requires only a periodic visual exam to ensure the system is spraying and the MetaRocks are glistening. The Eliminite is designed to operate passively, with minimal maintenance. EcoSentry LLC—a subsidiary of Eliminite—and their team of wastewater treatment system operators are available to answer all of your operations and maintenance questions by emailing info@eliminite.com or by calling, toll-free, 1-888-406-2289.
Can the Eliminite be retrofit to existing systems?
Yes. The Eliminite is an ideal addition to outdated wastewater treatment systems located on environmentally sensitive sites. By adding an Eliminite to a standard septic system, a homeowner can achieve a much higher level of groundwater protection, nitrogen removal and overall wastewater treatment while avoiding the unnecessary expense of digging up and replacing their existing system.
How much of the Eliminite system is visible above ground level?
The only portion of the Eliminite that may be visible in a typical installation is the small, flat lid that is used as the access point for system sampling and maintenance. An Eliminite can easily be concealed by simple landscaping techniques such as planting grass and shrubs over the tank itself.
How much does the Eliminite cost?
The Eliminite is competitively priced at or below the cost of most other advanced onsite wastewater treatment systems. Contact an Eliminite representative for price quotes at info@eliminite.com or by calling, toll-free, 1-888-406-2289.
